I didn't mind snakes until we moved here.
Now I worry about copperheads, they are all around here and it is fairly common to stumble across one.

Nonpoisonous is ok but poisonous ones make me run.

I'm with Christy on that I don't mind the good ones but would much rather not see/have any copperheads around. There are other bad ones but not that I've seen here.

I actually have a snake in an upcoming batch of photos to scrap - a Cottonmouth Water Moccasin. He was sunning himself along the trail and one can't take exception when you're invading their territory and not the other way around.

Now they are nasty snakes also. I remember them from when I was growing up. Nasty, nasty, nasty!
