December 2009 Scrapbooking Challenge w/ WINNER!!!!
Sorry for the delay in posting. I was out a lot of the day and now our Internet is being very slow.
Do a layout with your Favorite Color
and then choose two items from a previous month's challenge.
Below is the list of what we have done each month this year.
January
Make your own patterned paper using a mask
Use stickers over a year old
Use most recently purchased unused tool
February
Work outside your comfort zone
Use a heart somewhere
Use your heat gun
March
Use stencils
Use eyelets
Turn paint into texture paint
April
Alter Alphabet Stickers into something decorative
Use hand held punches
May
Dry Emboss on Vellum
Use decorative scissors
June
Use Circles
Use Rubber Stamps
Metal Embellishments
July
Do something in black and white
Use fibers or ribbons
Use ink on the layout
August
Use Oldest Scrapbooking Item
Use Newest Scrapbooking Item
September
Use Buttons
Do a layout about Yourself
Use Markers
October
Do real or faux stitching
Use scallops or a zigzag
Use Brads
November
Use patterned paper from 3 different manufacturers
Use chipboard
Use brads
You have until midnight January 3rd to submit your December Challenge layouts since there is a weekend then.

Re: December 2009 Scrapbooking Challenge
I'm looking forward to giving this a try also. My big problem now is trying to decide what my favorite color is now

Marianne - thanks again for doing these. Some of my favorite layouts this year have been inspired by your challenges.

That is lovely, Christy!
Be careful with that 'delete' button, that's a priceless photo of you!

Re: December 2009 Scrapbooking Challenge
Hello, I'm still working my way through the Austrian photos, and don't think I will reach my goal to have the album finished before this year's end!
This is a beautiful monastery in a little town by a lake.
My favourite colour, for this album, seems to be creams and buttery yellows.
I used a stencil to make the patterned background.
The angel is a button, but I cut the shank off so that it would lie flat on the page.
Kathryn.

Beautiful layout and place! It looks so restful. I wonder if they take overnight guests.
