Cool thingie!!
Cool thingie!!
I bought this from HSN for my travelling journal. It will work perfectly. I have it loaded and ready to go on our next trip.

Re: Cool thingie!!
that's pretty neat
Re: Cool thingie!!
It looks like it holds a lot. How big a piece of paper can you put in a compartment?
Re: Cool thingie!!
That is cool! I like that you can see what's inside each compartment.

I've been tempted to buy one so many times. They would make nice Christmas gifts.
Do they seem to be sturdy?

Thanks, Debbie. That's a good size paper to have for journaling on, etc. I didn't take enough larger pieces of paper to slip into pockets. That shape bag wouldn't fit in my suitcase now that I'm packing differently but it does look very handy for supplies.

Yes, they seem to be sturdy. I got it for 29.99 and it comes with 4 bags. This is the 3rd size down. Two larger and one for jewelry that is lined in velvet. My granddaughters have grabbed onto those extras.
Re: Cool thingie!!
Cool. I have a thing very similar to this that I got as a "free gift" from Clinique or Lancome years ago. I have fibers stored in it. But now I am thinking it would be great for markers and gelatos. Thanks for jogging my brain.

I have one too and I love it. From HSN also, but solid red. I broke my up and use them separately. The small one I use for traveling, and the other three for scrapbook storage. They are really versatile.

It is cool looking.
Are you planning on carry on? Will they go through it do you think?

Yes, I was going to carry on. They might go through it. The only time I had any trouble was at Heathrow in London. They took pencils and anything that was sharp.
Re: Cool thingie!!
Not sure what Debbie has in mind and I know she travels a lot overseas so knows the ropes.
Having recently been through security more times than I care to think about, still no liquids or creams in jars allowed. I always put any paint, gesso or gel medium in my checked bag as well as any scissors. They are tougher on the way back to the US than leaving here, Cheryl, and there is often a separate security inspection at the gate, too, on the way back.

Traveling to & from a location is the worst part of going away. Hubby always gets pulled aside because of his shoulder replacements.
