Played with alcohol inks today
I was watching some of Tim's videos last night and decided to try his alcohol ink and compressed air technique - the results are similar to using a spin art machine (which I don't have). I'll be giving this another try, but here are today's attempts. I got a bit carried away with the colors, so put your sunglasses on.
I don't like this one. I should not have added the plum color, but it looks a bit better IRL. The bird is popped up, but the scanner flattened him.Sue in NC (formerly known as Sue in Colorado)

Re: Played with alcohol inks today
OOOOOOOh! I like them too! I wouldn't change the burgundy color either. It's a nice splash of color.

Nice cards! I don't have the spin art machine either. Way cool!

Great Cards Love them All!!
Re: Played with alcohol inks today
I wouldn't change a thing - they are great. Isn't that FUN with the compressed air... I'm going to need a new can soon
Re: Played with alcohol inks today
Sue these all turned out fantastic. I really like the colors in the last one with the bird. I've watched that video and since I didn't have canned air handy I used a photographic air bellows tool to do it. Absolutely no control over it but it was fun.
