Papercrafting Inspiration - please share your faves!

Post by nchoney »

I know we've started conversations about this before... but I'm betting we can create a super list of crafters we follow on YouTube or on their blogs, etc. As we're hoping to invite some more crafters to re(create) it will be nice to have a reference they can look at (and that we can all look at) to get papercrafting inspiration. So... please add your fave crafters to this list!! Please try to add a link to their site... many of these people also have YouTube videos or Facebook pages you can follow. Lots of great ideas!! Some of these people have shops but also share YouTube videos just to share their ideas and techniques.

I, too, follow several of the above. I also like to get inspiration from some less mainstream sources; the advantage is they're not bombarding me with new product/making me want to shop all the time.

For sketches:
Susan Stringfellow -
DisneyScrappers.ning.com - you have to join (free) to see content, but even if not scrapping Disney there's lots of great sketches and challenges here.
sketchsavvy.blogspot.com - Susan doesn't post here anymore, but there are still lots of great sketch/layout resources

YouTubers I currently find most inspiring (check for blogs and/or IG feeds):
MK Gunn - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEb3iG ... I4g/videos - MK unapologetically scraps her old stash, which I'm all for
Dorothy Guinan/Scrapbooking Quebec - https://www.youtube.com/c/ScrapbookingQuebec/videos - Dorothy scraps with both new and old product
Laura Wonsik - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDvUt4 ... gdg/videos - Laura is on Vicki Boutin's design team, does mixed media, and scraps in a variety of sizes

Lots of great inspiration here! I second Keitha's recommendation of Susan Stringfellow's sketches and Disney Scrappers. I was goin to add to the list, but you all have named my go-tos!

I subscribe to many of the above. Thanks for this great comprehensive list!

I’ve been dabbling in gel printing and loving it. This has brought me to discover MansiMakes. She is an absolute delight and her philosophy of art speaks to me. You can’t help but smile listening to her and watching her demonstrations. Her YouTube videos are wonderful.
