Two more December birthday cards
Two more December birthday cards
These look very different, but I die-cut the cogs and dream catcher from the same paper. I started with a sheet of black and splodged it with turquoise and silver acrylic paint, and had fun scraping it with an old credit card! The stencilled background was in my box of "bits that might come in useful".

Both are interesting and unique. I like the dream catcher best, the blues are pretty.

Kathryn terrific cards! I really like the dream catcher too and it was a good reminder that I have dies in two sizes of dream catchers. Did you make what looks like alcohol colored papers for the gear card? Very cool colors.

Amazing how different the paper looks on each card. I like the added interest of the messy background but the white really puts more focus on the painted cogs and strips.

I like both of them, too. Very cool effect with the painted paper!

The white really showcases the painting technique on the cogs/strips, but as a messy girl I like the dreamcatcher card best. You'd never know the background came out of a random pile of arty bits - it looks like you created it specifically for that card. Great cards!

Lovely, Kathryn. They're both so nice, I can't decide which I like best.

I knew I could rely on you all for some kind feedback. Thankyou! Now that I've got the birthday cards done, I'd better pull out the Christmas stamps for Debi's challenge!
