Make tags, not war....
Make tags, not war....
And with that thought..... post 'em here! Let's see how many new techniques we can come up with! Post a tag with a technique or special something that you did to make it just a bit more fabulous. I'm pondering this myself while I finish up the TH tags.... who wants to be first to post one?

I've been playing around with TH masks, grunge board and stamps plus some Mirror Mirror stamps and these were my results:
For the most part I simply placed masks first on the tags, rubbed in multiple colors of Distress Inks, stamped in either Distress or Stazon. Stamped on Grunge board and edged tags in more Distress. It is just what I call "stream of consciousness" play. I never know where I'm going with it till I'm done, LOL.

Farley, they are out of this world gorgeous!
Here is a tag I had laying around with the big flowers stamped on it and the word, hi. I grabbed some bubble wrap and painted it with coppery Lumiere paint tonight and slapped that on the tag. then I added the wooden flower and the copper wire in the center. I think it's an improvement. I was hoping the scanner would pick up the shimmer but it hasn't. It's very shimmery on the dots.

Marianne, I love all the pattern happening in it. I bet the shimmer is awesome. I've got a load of glimmer mist that I want to try with the masks...they've never been opened, LOL.

Gorgeous tags gals! Oh how I do miss my Lumiere paint. Here's a card I made last month for my mom's bday. I think I shared it here before.
I'll make a few tags in a bit and post them in the morning. I just wanted to pop online & answer some posts before bed.

Beautiful tag and card, Michelle!
Farley, your challenge for today is OPEN those glimmer mists and spray away! Use a pizza box for a spray box and don't forget to put a piece of paper in the bottom. It becomes very interesting after awhile with all the different patterns and colors on it especially if you spray letters and numbers or swirls, grungeboard shapes, etc. Then you can use it as backgrounds.

Re: Make tags, not war....
someone directed me to this vintage clip art...this little boy reminds me of my DGS as, at 16 months, he has that unruly hair on top of his head...so I made this tag to go with his Christmas package...now, of course, I must find some little girls for my DGDs!
