Prima Altered Book
Prima Altered Book
Did anyone else see this? I am so wanting to CASE this and ironically enough have the perfect book to do it with - 101 Things To Do With a Book.
Re: Prima Altered Book
Wow--I love it!! Where did you find that? Are there any other views?
Re: Prima Altered Book
Pam, I saw that yesterday and saved it to my inspiration file. I'd love to try it some day.

That is so cool, Pam! What a great find. It's a perfect thing to do with your book!
Re: Prima Altered Book
Is it Finnabair at CHA? I wonder how they cut the book and how deep it is?
Re: Prima Altered Book
There's one other view of it on the Gentleman Crafter's blog. It doesn't look like the book was cut down at all, just colored and folded.

Re: Prima Altered Book
I don't know if I'll ever get around to it or not, but what I'm seeing in my mind are words and pictures coming out of the book, like the stories are flowing out and coming to life. This one could be a long-term project.

My first thought is what in the world did they use to glue it on there. It looks like a normal size book!
Re: Prima Altered Book
My jaw dropped when I saw that on Jim's blog yesterday and again on Prima's FB page today. What aphenominal idea!! And Marianne, I too would love to know what glue they used.
