Wow, your tag is beautiful.
Re: 12 Tags of 2012
Here is my March Tag-My butterfly theme fit right in with Tim's. I didn't like his woodgrain background so I went with bamboo. I also used a big diecut butterfly over my mosiac so I didn't have to painstakingly fit the little snippets into the spaces. Colors are a bit washed out in the late afternoon sun. Remember when we did this technique with Club Scrap in about 2003?

gorgeous tag!
yes, that technique is an oldie... at least for those of us who have been stamping for eons.
but gosh, T!m did it so it must be new

Here is my May tag.
I wanted to use a person stamp for some reason but still wanted my butterfly theme. I thought of that quote about Happiness being a butterfly and went from there. Since I'm not thrilled with shiny things I sprayed my flowers with dark red mist, dipped them in beeswax and heated it so it melted down into the flowers then rubbed the edges with gold lumiere paint to highlight them. The woman is stamped on a thin piece of wood. The butterfly on her shoulder is an old magnet that was one of my Mom's things. And the 'Sit Quietly' was a piece of paper put through the dymo labeler and then inked red. Anyone else doing any of the tags? Please, post!

Gorgeous!
Brilliant idea to use the bees wax to tone down the shininess!

Here is my June tag. It's probably the only thing I'll post this month
I did it in a hurry (even the photo is blurry) and would really like to do another with a vintage photo from my family.
In the background is a glimpse of something I am doing for Monica's painting challenge. I'll take it with me on the trip and hopefully finish it up.
