Come for a spot of tea
Come for a spot of tea
Here is my little tea box. I wish I had remembered to take a picture before I started inking it up. I used Espresso Adirondack Color Wash, Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Staz On Black.

Re: Come for a spot of tea
Thanks gals! It turned out much better than I planned. I first spritzed it with walnut ink. It didnt look so good so I started rubbing ink all over the box. I really like the way that brought the focus onto the grain of the wood. Now I need to go buy another box so I can give this one away.
By now I should know to buy at least 2 of everything.

Great box! It's amazing what some ink will do to turn a 'blah' box into a WOW box, isn't it? ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Michele is this the tea box that I kept bumping so someone would make it? (I'm not much of a tea drinker or I would have done one) Love what you have done with it.

Re: Come for a spot of tea
Yep yep! You inspired me! I found out Sunday that this box is actually one that you drink sake out of. When drinking sake, you are to share, never drink alone. I would drink out of one corner then pass it to the next person who would pass to the next, etc. Each person drinks from a different corner. Personally, I'm not into sharing my cup (or box) when drinking ANYTHING!Ruth Ann Landry wrote:Michele is this the tea box that I kept bumping so someone would make it?
