Route 66 gas stations

Back to my Route 66 album, my current Subject Spotlight is gas stations. They play a big part in Route 66 history/nostalgia, and you miss a lot if you pass them by. The first page is photos from Pete's Gas Station Museum in Williams, AZ. The private museum houses gas station memorabilia from Pete's personal collection. I think we were in a hurry to find lodging for the night as we didn't take time to talk to Pete, nor did we visit the gift shop in the other bay. My hero paper is from Reminisce Classic Cars, which I paired with bits of a 2011 Simple Stories collection and various embellishments from my stash.
So not like me to scrap photos of myself, but here's another one. There doesn't appear to be a lot to see at this Route 66 attraction in Monrovia CA, but it's one of just three remaining original stations on what was Route 66 in California. My photos include three very well preserved Flying A gas pumps showing prices of 31 cents and 33 cents a gallon; I understand the pumps have subsequently been removed. Papers are from a 2016 Pink Paislee collection, embellished with Tim's Road Trip dies. Those really are too stinkin' fun to play with.
