August 2020 BUJO

This month’s journal was a bit rushed since I didn’t start until last night and finished what is necessary this afternoon. If there is one thing that disappoints me about Planning With Kay new monthly sticker sets is that they rarely get here in time to use for the month it is specifically designed for. I’m in N California and she is in Portland. It shouldn’t take 2 weeks for it to get here. But I ramble. I did use one of her previous year’s set before I joined. I think this is from 2018. I’ve bought several older sets just for the reason above. Loved using it and combining a few other stickers of hers or using my Tombow markers where headers are missing.

So this is all mostly from “Succulents” and I love the colors of it. The very first page of the August calendar is one of her free membership printables. The rest I drew in, hand wrote some titles or used the Succulent stickers.

You do such a beautiful job on each month!

What kind of white pen do you use?

Thank you Debbie and Marianne.

Marianne here are the pens I use more than any other. I have a ahem...”collection” of journaling and brush pens that I do use as well but these in the photo are my regular go-to pens for my BUJO.

LOVE the succulents theme! I actually just picked up the Kaisercraft succulents scrapbooking pack and a 6x6 paper pad on clearance.

Thanks, Farley. I thought that white pen is the best, too, and in my enthusiasm bought several. They dried up sooner than I thought they would. I also like the Pitt Pens but haven't done much with brush pens.

My last purchase I bought 10 of the white Signo pens. So far so good but now that you say that I should try the 8 that I haven’t used yet. I forgot to mention my favorite online shop for all writing instruments is JetPens. You probably know of it already but I love that dangerous shop.
