2019 WCMD Month Challenge Days 10 - 12 New Swatches

New color swatches plus a few additional elements. Go make some cards!



CARD ELEMENTS:
1. Choose one of the below color swatches (be sure to note which one you chose in your post: Purples, Greens or Blues)
2. Embossing powder
3. Glitter (if it’s in the embossing powder, that counts as 2 items!)
4. Choose one of the sketches below: Obi, Cluster or Panels
5. Focal point is a word die or word stamp (words from a digital cutter accepted and encouraged)
6. Embossing Folder
7. Ink blended backgrounds
8. Die cut images (digitally cut images accepted and encouraged)
9. Create a decorated envelope that coordinates with your card (Extra point)
10. Washi tape
11. Jewels
12. Stickers or alpha stickers
13. Put a Bird On It!
14. Stencils
15. Multi-folding cards.

New Elements:

16. Metallics...paper, doodads
17. 3-D cards
18. Sprays
19. Alcohol inks
20. Masculine cards

Points:

Each newly made card with one or less element 1 pt
Any newly made card with 2 elements from list 2 pts
Any newly made card with 3 or more elements from list 3 pts
Post a card a day (31) or a total of 31 cards by end of
October. 31pts
Create a custom envelope for a specific card. 1pt

I think this falls under the category of masculine. I like how it turned out.

Catching up with my card-a-day-self-challenge...

I’m rather pleased with myself with the elements (6!) I used which with the exception of using the new color swatch the rest was accidental.

Elements used:

New peach/gray color swatch
Metallic paper...bird
Bird
Bird punch
Embossed sentiment
Glitter...Stickles on each gray flower.

Pretty card Farley, the colors are so bright! My inches on the above card was that grunge pieces again.

Since I have that new Gemini Jr, I was a die cutting fool tonight. I used a CP stamp and die set that I’ve hardly touched and cut everything twice, stamped using CP inks to match the 2nd color swatch and I am pleased.

Day 12 Card:

Inchies! Boy I could have used an “inchie” die. Badly cut one inch squares but here it is anyway. I stamped a Catherine Pooler background stamp of the trees in 3 different greens, then chopped them up. I used the sentiment inchie to cover up the worst one, LOL.
