Glues?

Some time back we all discussed various types of glues, but for the life of me I can't seem to find the thread.

I need a glue that will adhere different textures and materials to canvas. Metal, wood, etc. To the best of my memory, which is faulty most of the time, there was an epoxy that was available at Lowe's? Does anyone else remember that or have I seriously lost it? (Which is always a possibility.) I don't want a glue that I have to mix and then wear a gas mask in order to use it. I just want a good adhesive that will permanently hold various found objects.

I'm open to suggestions.

Nuts I don't recall discussing a glue that will do all that without a hazmat suit.

I just remember that I was touting the Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I wouldn't trust it though for wood with confidence. Love the stuff however.

I think it was Loctite. I ended up using Gorilla Glue and it worked, but I don't trust it for some of the things I'm gluing.

I've used plain old bookbinding glue/PVA glue for my canvases, and never had a single problem with it.

Even when gluing heavy items on it? I'm afraid something might fall off in the night.

Seashells, floral vines, metal clock faces from Prima... off the top of my head. And yes, they are all hanging on my walls at the moment. When I glue I set a book under the canvas so that it doesn't sag where I'm attaching it, then leave it sit overnight to fully adhere.

Yep

E6000. but make sure to be in ventilated space. The fumes can do a number on you.

That's all I need - to get high while I'm gluing!
