Love your convertible!
I've been stumped about what to substitute for the round tags. I think I'll CASE your idea next.

This one doesn't look at all like Tim's, but I went with the masking theme...first I stamped the wreath, made a mask out of Eclipse tape, then painted Mustard Seed crackle paint over it. (I wanted to go with the idea of an old crackled door with a wreath on it--I suppose I could add a doorknob, couldn't I?) Pulled the mask off (can't reuse it--too messed up) and watercolored the wreath. I rubbed the dry crackle paint with Old Linen distress ink, but it doesn't really show. Edges were distressed and rubbed with Frayed Burlap distress ink, a piece of grungeboard was stamped/embossed with gold and rubbed with Pine Needles distress ink, and the wreath was touched up with Old Linen distress stickles. The gold embellishment at the top is from Paula's Kit Club--she has the best metal charm things! Ribbon from my stash.

Wow! Would never have thought to do any of that let alone together! Awesome. I can see the distress ink over the crackles.

Ink Pattie this last one is awesome. It doesn't have to look anything like Tims - just getting the ideas from him is the best.

I'm a day behind--eeek! Will I catch up? Here's Tag #8--with music, I always want to use a bird. So I stamped TH harlequin on a grungeboard Nature bird, with red EP. I dabbed over that with Pebble, which is the exact same color as grungeboard. The legs and branch were dabbed with Hazelnut, then drawn over with slick markers in metallic red and brown. I used Memories black ink for the vellum, and it worked just fine. I only have archival inks in Sepia and Cobalt. I used a Stampin Up swirly stamp in Peeled Paint, and stamped the "Make a Joyful Noise" CS Musical Interlude stamp in Frayed Burlap and cut out using a Nestabilities die. Oh, and I finally got to try the wired ribbon, since I used a tree instead of a snowman on Tag #1! How cool is that?
