Not really nature, but here's who I photographed this weekend. . . it's DS at a baseball tournament. They won the whole thing!
Pretty exciting, especially as they start the All Star Tournament this week.

Fun with fireflies. Out of 60 shots, I got about 8 with good firefly streaks and this was the clearest. Tonight I just put it into night scene mode and put it on a tripod.

Jean, I don't have a true SLR digi, but I do have have lots of options to play with. If I study the instructions I should be able to set ISO, aperture and shutter speed. The highest F stop I can use is 8, so it will take some experimentation. Tomorrow...

This image was a free download from Suze Weinberg's site a long time ago and I thought it was cool, but had no idea what I would ever use it for. You look closely you will see Mona Lisa in the left hand cornor of the image.

I thought we had a challenge for anything "outdoors" to use, but can't find it--this isn't "flowers" but this is the altered journal we had going around a year ago. When I got it back I had a bunch of blank pages and just finished this page up. My book theme was Italy and this is a leaf that I picked up in Pompeii and I decoupaged it with several layers and it seemed to work good.

I took a ten minute walk down my drive (half way down there) and took these photos along the way. Journaling reads: On a ten minute walk down the driveway--the creek, the bridge, the wild flowers and raspberries, the "spooky old tree", "the road less taken", "Nadeem's Nob"----such beauty so close to home.

Edit: this was for last week...sorry.

I ran out tonight and took a few pics of clouds at sunset. Tripod, ISO higher than I'd like, but I don't have a decent (fast) lens. This was the best of the lot. That dot would be an airplane. We live about 5 miles from a major airport.

This is the first time I have been able to join in all the fun at Camp, although I have been singing along!
I've just finished this layout from our trip to Austria last year, and Liege was our first night's stop on the way. I used some cream flowers by the title and some fuzzy fibres by the photos of the rivers we crossed. They are a bit blurred as I took them from the coach, trying to avoid the trucks!

Rinda, Thanks so much. I am just loving my complete collection of Scrapper's Guide goodies. Here's a quick drop page from Scrappers Guide May 2006. This is my Grandmother's beloved Aunt Mary.

Edited to add a companion page.
