Love the heart card. Could it be the orientation of the birds that's the difference between the two?

Day #6: double duty again. I wanted to play with my vellum and here's what I ended up with. Go to my June Card Sketch thread to read about the details of this card. I think I get a few bonus for using so much of my stash, old and new.

Day #7: I changed it up today and made a selfie LO of today's primary. I will admit I'm terribly pleased with myself. I knew I wanted to use more of the Carta Bella Ahoy There kit. But when I saw the Voter pamphlet on my desk, that sent me off in a slightly different direction. I probably should have referred to some sketch but this LO took on a life of its own.

I used my I Voted sticker, old buttons from a TSOL kit, stickers from Ahoy There, an extra flag I made yesterday and best of all I made a vellum fishtail tag. Journaling may be hard to see since it's on the red stripe paper.

Heck...I just realized I forgot a title. Will have to add that later this morning. Why do I wake up at 4:30 in the morning and think of such things?

It's really pretty, Farley.
I'm not sure I would add a title - unless there's something about the day you want to stress? Does that make sense? If I did one about voting for this year, I might have a title of "enduring" or "dutiful" - something along those lines stressing the point that I only voted out of a sense of obligation (another title option!) rather than being hopeful or excited. Then my journaling could explain my title?

All that to say, I feel like if you decided against a title, it looks complete without it.

Yes, bonus points for the buttons and I love that banner!

Thanks Debbie and Pam! I originally thought the title should be "I Voted". But then the sticker already says that. So as I drifted back to sleep I thought perhaps that was enough rather than busy it up with more words. There are, after all, a lot of words going on to read or look at. Thanks for the great advice Pam.

I may add a companion page of the birding.

Card and page look great, Farley. I agree that I don't think you need a title; it didn't feel like one was missing to me, either.

Fabulous layout. I truly believe there are already enough words. No title required. I always love a patriotic theme.
