April 2015 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge

Great job on the sketch. Very colorful too.

Okay, Captain, finally finished this monumental layout. Even though I think I need to touch up the Stickles. I thought I had black but can you imagine that in my drawer of skatey-eight Stickle bottles, there were no black ones. Geez.

So I tried to do everything I could to channel Shimelle. I cut my paper into a jillion pieces and layered way more than usual. I cut up little pieces of the design. I used brads, I used fibers, I used stamping. I hope I pass.

I ALSO used my birthday present for the first time. Jumping the gun a bit but I couldn't us wait any longer. The unopened box has been sitting in my kitchen for two weeks. A Canon Selphy Photo Printer. And, man, am I in love!!!

This will also be posted over at Story Stamp for the March kit theme Magic. This was truly a magical moment. My sister and me at the Airport Mesa vortex in Sedona at sunset. True magic.

You did a great job with this. The embellishment clusters are great and lead your eye to the all-important photos.

OMGosh! Jen this is awesome. Has Chrissie seen this yet? She'll want it for sure. Your colors and composition are outstanding! It also shows the love between to wonderful sisters.

Here is my "rendition". Caitlin with a bunch of her friends last summer. BTW, some exciting news....she called and was accepted into the radiology program and is so excited about it. Now it's 24 months with only 1 month off each summer. So happy for her.

Perfect, Debbie. The circles really repeat the water theme. And the red paper highlights the color of the boats. Love it.

I too went 24 months, but we didn't get such big breaks! The last twelve months we only got 3 PTO days!
Just last night my x-ray gal pals texted, we are meeting for a girls weekend in May!
