Daylily
Daylily
I don't remember planting this one, but evidently I did. Seems like each year I'm always surprised by one I forgot about.
Re: Daylily
You may not have planted it at all Pam. I'm no plant expert, but I know for a fact that the tulips I planted one year were all solid colors, and they were all ordered from a catalog and were part of a specific collection. And two years later, I started getting these breathtaking striped tulips. Maybe you had some similar plant parties going on in your garden.
Either way, that photo is gorgeous! And it makes for a stunning layout. Nice job.

Re: Daylily
I went back and looked at previous year's photos, and it was there. I just forget what's planted from one year to the next. The big surprise this year was the amaryllis that had never bloomed before - it was red and white stripes - and the bee balm that we planted two years ago. The only think left that's never bloomed is an African lily that's been in the ground several years. I think I need to move it, but not sure where exactly to go with it.

Re: Daylily
Love it Pam! I really enjoy revisiting my day lilies every year. I have lost the names on a few but really try to keep them.
