Need some ideas....
Need some ideas....
I want to make my 2 YO grand daughter an advent calendar for Christmas. I purchased this really cute set of papers...one shown below. After a LOT of research, I purchased these boxes, boxes and more boxes from the dollar store...but the dates from the sheet below won't fit on them. I'm thinking of stacking and glueing 12x12 foam core and backing the sheet below with a heavier paper, cutting the date boxes so it's peek a boo window style...anyone have any suggestions? I'm stumped....

Re: Need some ideas....
Julie-- I would still use those boxes, and who says the numbers have to fit perfectly. Too small--add your own paper, too large--trim them down.
Re: Need some ideas....
I was thinking the same thing as Holly (btw love that number paper). Those boxes look perfect to pull out countdown treats from.
Re: Need some ideas....
If you want the numbers all the same size.
Scan the sheet in and select the number you want
and resize it and print. It'll take a bit of time but
you might like it better.

I have the same problem with a countdown tree I'm making for my nieces... I'm swiping that scanning idea!!
