Lawn decoration
Lawn decoration
Not really. Joel snapped this on campus this morning. Two people walked right by him and didn’t even see him. He’s a regular visitor to this perennial bed.

How beautiful!
I'm always amazed at the number of people who walk around without looking at all there is at which to marvel; there's beauty everywhere if we simply look.

Re: Lawn decoration
Did he shed one of his antlers?
Re: Lawn decoration
No idea what happened to it. Back in early spring he had the whole antler. About half of it is broken off.

Re: Lawn decoration
Probably lying under a tree somewhere. I have one antler that I found while mowing early this spring and was hoping I'd find the other. I never knew that deer shed them annually until this year. That's probably his new antler that looks like it's broken.

He doesn't seem skittish at all
