Finally watched this. She gives great tips. Nothing I didn't already know, so basically I have to admit I've just become lazy when photographing mine in recent months. With Cooper in the house the spot on the floor by the slider I used is now always dirty, so I need to put something on the floor for my page to lay on. And somehow keep the dog from walking on it - or worse, stealing it to chew.
She's the second person I've heard talk about flat lay photography in recent days; a skill I'd like to get better at. In my mind it goes along with becoming adept at arranging tablescapes, something I've been much more conscious of since redecorating - now that I have a lovely big coffee table for such vignettes.
