Autumn 2017 challenge #3
Re: Autumn 2017 challenge #3
Farley - I've never been a hair person, which is why mine is so short all the time. I grew up in the 60's-70's, when the style was long and straight, so I never learned to do much with it. The long curly look was perfect for me at the time - just get a perm! Wash it, fluff it with my fingers and go. The funny thing is that the next time I had it permed, he used a different solution and a smaller roller because the curl fell out of the back. When it was finished, it looked like Roseanne Roseannadanna. It made me nuts - anyone with half a brain would have been nuts - so he cut it to try to take some of the curl out. That made it look like Barbra Streisand in that dumb 80s movie - a style I hated on her, not to mention me. So more hair cut off, and I loved it. Short, curly, easy to style. Best hair I ever had. Once the perm was gone I never did it again. rofl.

Sorry about this friends...
Pam, love this photo. As I mentioned Twiggy was my inspiration. At 12 I cut my hair very short and it wasn't until 20 years later that I grew it out for the first time. That lasted about 4 years or so. My hair is straight until it gets near my chin and then it gets wavy...like an old fashioned 20s flapper girl.
Okay, hijack over. You may now return to scrapping and carding in these gorgeous colors.

I knew I still had some CS Salsa cardstock in my stash and I found this Art Impressions stamp that I had never used so I made a card. I love this color palette. (The orange is looking more like a rusty red on my monitor, but it is really a very pretty orange).

Oh my goodness - Sue, that card has me cracking up! The colors are great, but the front is just awesome, and you could use the stamp and sentiment with ANY color palette. Nicely done!

The page was done. I only had to add the pictures! When I made it, I thought I had printed the pictures so It laid there until I got off my lazy butt to finish it.
