I bought The Coloring Studio, coloring book from Somerset Studios. A bit on the "too artsy" side for me, but I'm giving it a try.
I did this simple rabbit with wink of stella pens. I really like those things!
Thanks for looking.

Good job Pat. I bought a couple of those but didn't keep one if them.

Good job, Pat! Santa brought me a colouring book, but I just don't have the desire/patience for it - I'd rather be working on a layout.
Re: A bit of Coloring
Oh, I like it, too. Not too artsy at all. Don't forget you don't have to color inside the lines. You can splash color all around and pick out the parts you like to enhance or embellish. Or draw additional things over the top.
Re: A bit of Coloring
Marianne...it's the coloring outside the lines that makes me nervous! In this particular book, the artists have done a wonderful job of adding color, washes, words, etc. in their examples. My mind does not work so easily in that way. I need to practice artistic freedom, but those lines are comforting to me.

Very nice page, Pat!
I confess... I'm one of those who laughed at the current craze of adult coloring books, merely because I never stop coloring! I still have coloring books from my childhood that I pull out to work in, along with more boxes of Crayolas than a sane person should have. That's actually what suckered me into stamping in the 90s... the chance to color new images and create cards. And yes, I have half a dozen or so adult coloring books, one of which is Maori designs my GF from NZ brought with her and gave me for Christmas. Fun stuff!
