Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Those are really pretty, Jen!
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
I'm really thinking that I might need to do this.
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Thanks to all for your kind words. Anyone else fall for this kit yet?
Here is one I made as per their instructions with a minor change. The kit was called Simply Snowflake. I wish I had done more with it. But it was one of my first attempts and I was afraid to deviate. Ha ha. And now it's just too late. In the mail today.

Oooh Jen! These are two cards? Love them. They don't really need more.

Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Thank you. No, it's one card. Gatefold. I like them but I wish I had used Stickles or something to bling them up. Sealed now.
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Really very very pretty. Do you have to cut all the snowflakes, mistletoe, etc. or do they come in the kits?
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
pretty cards
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
It all comes die cut. You could take that orange box to the park with adhesive and have everything you need to play. Oh, wait, I think even the adhesive is included.

Ah, your snow flake makes sense to me now. I thought maybe a die comes with the set. Very cool card.

Is the kit the same price every month or does it vary? Yes, I could look it up myself but, you know...

Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Yes, same price. I think it is around $20. I feel it's a pretty good deal. A small sheet of stamps. A small ink pad. And all the parts and pieces to make at least twenty cards. Plus envelopes. Sometimes it's a project like gift bags or the like. But you can work around it. Although I still haven't tackled that Halloween box.
Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
I didn't realize it would make that many cards. And, of course, you could always use the stuff and put it together however you wanted. What percentage of kits would you say are projects like treat bags, etc. and not cards?
Is each month geared toward whatever major holiday is that month?
I like the idea of getting some different bits and pieces each month but not if they are specifically for Valentine's and St. Patrick's Days, Easter, etc.

Re: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
I think the designs are generic enough to appeal to a wide audience.
