The day before dd's class party, she says she wants to make goodie bags for the kids in her class. Not a problem, we can put those together real quick after I get off work. I tell dh to bring dd to work so she can pick out the bags. She sees the Wilton candy kits and decides thats what she wants for her class. Being the cool mom that I am,

, I say sure, why not, it'll be fun. We get the kit, come home and open the box. There are no decorator bags to melt the chocolate in and there are no lollipop sticks. I've been on my feet for 6 1/2 hours at this point. I tell dh to run back to the Arts & Crafts Center and exchange it for another box. I sit down for a few and read message here and check email. He gets home with the new box and we start to make the candies. Its past dd's bedtime so I only let her help for a little bit before sending her to bed. Almost an hour and 1/2 later, I am finished. Theres just one tiny little problem, there are 20 kids in the class and the kit only made 18 pieces of candy. The box said 50 pieces and my tired brains though, cool, more than enough candy! Not realizing that counted the candy molds, bags, sticks and bags of candy pieces. Oh well live & learn.

So, I send dh back in to get another kit as well as gift for dd's Art Club teacher and gift for a classmate in the morning. She told us while we were making candy that she needed a gift for a classmate. I ended up with enough candy for dd's class AND Art Club!!!!
