December crop challenge #5
December crop challenge #5
On the 5th day of December the Tim tag looked like this: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... tag-5.html Love the simple elegance of the wreath, but I'm still not sold on those reverse image stamps.

Re: December crop challenge #5
I can't believe it but I have already done #5 my own way. I used the Tattered Florals to make my wreath. The top right flower and cut the petals. Got a little better photo I think. Monica I just stamped with my regular stamps on the glossy card stock.

When I cut the foliage it didn't look much like a wreath! I followed Tim's idea of using little pearls for the mistletoe berries after I stamped this design and then glued some foliage to each side. I love that stamp.

That is a beautiful stamp, Kath!
Here is my #5-five golden rings with a nod to the ring-necked pheasant who it really refers to. The wreath idea was just so suitable for the 5 rings that I just went with it.
I love that AI background technique. I had no reverse stamps so I made a general background using a stamp from a set Kathryn gave me. Very elegant! The wreath is some of that leafy trim you can buy by the yard. I love that stuff.
This is not a good photo. It looks really harsh. For some reason, the white tag through the plastic is looking purple. Ick!
And the upper left corner really isn't on fire.

I never thought of using that punch, Rachelle, it would have been a great opportunity. I got stuck on the idea of the leaves by the yard. I really like the music paper leaves. I might have to punch some out ready for the next wreath.
Re: December crop challenge #5
I just used the white ink on the tag after I painted it with Martha Stewart red paint.
I used the WOW stamps
I did get it alittle croocked. I tried to cut the wreth from the cricut and after 25 cuts I got 4 that were usable.
