Fabric Christmas Tree

Post by katymjo »

These are a couple of sewing projects for our Craft Break. The wreath is made from felt and I was really glad to find that I could die-cut the flowers. I had not tried putting felt through the Cuttlebug before. The ladies who come like to make things to sell at their Church Christmas Fair, so I have to keep coming up with new ideas!

The tree is my favorite! Did it take a lot of time?

Cutting out all those circles and gathering them took quite a while, but they are just glued on, so that bit was quick! I wanted something that would keep folks busy for a good long while!!

Great projects - I would fill the little wreath with holiday-scented potpourri.
Brilliant idea to use the Cuttlebug to cut the flowers. What a time saver!

That's a great idea to use potpourri in the wreath, Pam, and it would keep your box of holiday decorations smelling nice all through the year.
