Some door hangers

Post by pugmom »

My mom asked me to make a door hanger that she could give as a little gift to a friend. I don't really know this lady so I made three very different ones  and mom can have one or all of them.

They are all very pretty. She'll be pleased. I think I like the bottom one the best, but it was a hard choice. Are the wood?

I'd take all 3! I'm pretty sure I could find a door knob to hang them from with no problem. ;)

They're all so pretty!
What did you use around the edge of the hole?

You might as well post instructions....

I agree with everyone...too cute!

and ask the same question. What did you use as a base? did you cut your own or buy pre made?

Thank you all so much.

Yes, the bases are made of wood. I've had them in my stash for a while, but I think I got them at Walmart in the craft aisle. They come in a pack of 5 or 6. The things around the holes are old bangle bracelets. I just sanded around the hole a bit to make it the same size as the bracelet.

Oooh, Paula, good idea. If the other ideas I have rumbling around in my head don't pan out, I just may do that.

These are very very cool. Makes me want to make one for every room in my house.

Hubby wants me to put one up on my craft room door. We saw a sign up in Oregon with a shipwreck theme. I could do that.

It said, This room is a wreck.

What does he think of my room????
