I really don't mind doing fussy cutting, obviously - just look at some of my projects. I've found that it's much easier with an X-acto than it is scissors. I just don't want to have to do it all the time, if that makes any sense. I love the way they used the labels on the Christmas pages. Do you have a copy of the colored photo for the LOs that used the Webster's Pages 50's looking fashions? Evidently now that they're out of the kits they've taken the photo down, and I'd really love to have it.

I don't! You're talking about the "Vintage Vogue" line, right? I noticed that kit though - right away I thought "Hey! I have some of that!" and then thought it would be very dumb of me to therefore buy a page kit. LOL. Of course, I wasn't thinking of the sketches and layout photos.

I wonder if you searched Two Peas if anyone posted that layout?
I have some of that line (probably a warehouse box) and not only do I not like the designs, I don't like the color combination. I'd like to see some layouts using it to see if I could get past my dislike.

You all, obviously, did not spend your time cutting out paper dolls when you were a kid. Back in the 50s you had to cut them out, no perforated edges. It builds cutting skills and patience that lasts a lifetime

Yep, I remember those paper dolls!! I remember that at times that was all we played with!

Oh yes, I remember paper dolls. They were one of my favorite things to play with. Lots and lots of cutting. We made paper dolls from anything we could eat our hands on. We used pre-made, catalogues, magazines or anything with images. I guess that was the forerunner to my love for paper crafts.

LOL Marianne! I did actually play with paper dolls as a kid. The difference there was, I had all the time in the world. I grew up in a small town where not one kid played soccer. A few boys would play t-ball, but the real sports didn't happen until high school. So scouts and youth groups pretty much accounted for the kiddie social schedule.

At this point in my life, if a layout takes me three separate sittings to make, I'm not happy about it. I don't mind if it takes one sitting to put together and another to get the photos on it - but cutting those flowers required three separate sessions. Grrr. If I had the time to sit and cut out flowers all day, I probably wouldn't be so keen on these page kits that do all the designing and materials gathering for me.
