NC PAO'ers - batten down the hatches. It will be here soon. I think it's not supposed to be gone until 2 a.m. It's going to be a rocky night for sure.

OF COURSE our old gutters were removed today and the new ones won't be up until Friday. They were in such bad condition the man said it was pretty much like not having any.

just getting here now. Tornado watch, super screaming high winds (which means Ry has attached herself to us like glue) and the rain is pelting the windows.

Sorry to hear you all are getting crappy weather! We have blue skies, sunshine, and 40º+ temps today! This makes up for the 3 solid weeks of heavy grey cloud cover and no sunshine we had prior to this week.....

We took down the glider and the wind chimes in the past half hour. I can't believe how loud the wind is and it's not really in full force yet. Checked the weather radio and it is set to alert us. Stay safe everyone!

Just brought in a few items from the front porch. It was all I could do to get the storm door open. The wind is fierce.
Our neighbors across the road have a basement. We should probably call and warn them we might come knocking tonight.
I should have done a load of laundry tonight. Maybe there's still time.

Rain is starting here now but no wind yet. Reminds me we better lay some stuff down on the deck.

I've brought in anything that could fly on the deck. The dogs and cats are hating the wind and we have some dead limbs falling. It's rough here. No rain yet but the map shows it coming. If we have power in an hour and no trees on top of the vehicles tomorrow morning I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I went to a show yesterday afternoon and then out to dinner with a friend. We had lots of wind while we were out but thank goodness made it home before anythings started. I slept through the whole night so didn't hear anything which is unusual. I hope no one had any damage and stayed safe. We apparently had lots of rain.

We still have some pretty rough winds out there, but didn't have much rain. As soon as it's light I'm going out to make sure everything is OK. Hope the new roof held!
