Secret Sisters

Post by troublesmom »

Any of you in this please don't go out and buy anything new. Just post here items that you would love to have that weren't included on your initial info sheet. It is hard buying for some of you.

I have already seen two items (ugh) I just have to have some of those great fold dies and that piece Christy showed us at ReCreate. I am sure I will be able to add more soon and I'll just edit this post.

This is a great idea, Cheryl. I've been eyeing all the cool washi (tissue) tapes that are out now. There is so much you can do with them.

Gosh, I think of something new every day that I NEED.

OK, I just watched a Cut, Fold, Tuck Youtube video and looked at Monica's tutorial and those dies are SO cool. I have a Cuttlebug, but all I've ever used it for is embossing - I don't have a single die :-o .

Need? Honestly, nothing.... but that only lasts until I see the next cool thing!   I'm looking for vintage images of Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz and Disneyana, if that helps my SS at all.

The Prima distressing tool was pretty darned amazing. I am constantly losing my little Tonic distressing tool.
I'd love one of the Dylusions art journals. The size is pretty much perfect.

ETA - ...and one of those silicone craft mats! I seriously need one of them. Cheryl M - does Stampin' Up sell them?

A Dylusions Art Journal is also on my "want" list. I love the doily stamp in the Stampin' Up catalog, and that silicone mat that was being shown on the rosette tute that SU has.

Why do men say we're hard to shop for???

I love all those wood veneer shapes from Studio Calico, some dry glitter in Rock Candy (or wet Rock Candy glitter) and clear detail embossing powder and those chalk ink little ink pads with handles Christy was using in her video from ReCreate look pretty handy to have. I recently discovered that several of my cats eye chalk ink pads are now dry and/or beat up!

Have you tried the stuff from Ranger? Why can't I remember anything any more? It's clear - you spray it on your ink pad and it refreshes it. Someone else will know the name, I'm sure.

ETA - It's called Ranger Ink Refresher. Imagine that.

That ink Refresher is really good stuff. I've kept some of my Jr. kit ink spots alive for years. You can also put it in markers.
