There's a box with my name on it in the mailbox!
Sadly, it's not my order - but it's from my (now, not at all) Secret Sister!
Thank you! You know who you are! It's here safely.

So - I'm wrapping things up in the box tonight.... then when that last super addition arrives, I can just pop it in and mail the box. It'll have to go priority.... and hope it's zippy fast!!

How do you know they weren't using a fake mailing address??? My sneaky SS last year mailed her's from Maine and I was too dumb to catch on.

Mine went out in the mail today!!! I'm hoping that my handmade gift makes it safely - room was limited when I packed the box up.

I just found a priority box that everything should fit into.... hopefully that one last item will fit, too.... there's a little space left for it.. then it'll go out at the flat priority rate... and boy, is the post office going to hate me on this one.... cuz it's heavy!! LOL

So now... even though the package I ordered has left Charlotte on FedEx.... the tracking says it'll arrive here on Friday instead of Thursday.... where the heck are they taking it? If it doesn't arrive tomorrow... I'll mail my SS package and then mail another smaller one with this goodie in it. Sigh.... don't want the big package to get there late, though.

10 hours in the ED with Joel. Came home and my ORDER IS HERE FINALLY!!!!!
I wonder if I could wrap myself in priority mail tape and travel the US like these packages do. Seriously?

I'm completely exhausted - I'll wrap everything tomorrow and get it in the mail tomorrow evening.

Joel - poor Joel - still no answers but his head CT showed no masses or bleeds (thank you, Jesus!).
Going to take a shower to wash off the ED waiting room cooties and go to bed!

Evidently I've missed a post somewhere?? The last I heard (physically) you both had the crud but it was taking him a little longer to get over it. What happened???? Very glad the CT didn't show anything bad (and showed he has a brain) but didn't know what necessitated it.

:hijack:
Joel has been sick since the week before Thanksgiving. First bronchitis and then sinusitis. Nothing is resolving the problems. Everyone is baffled. He's lost 20 pounds and only sleeps 2-3 hours a night. Yesterday his face went numb - it started from his forehead and progressed down to his neck. After 12 hours, it slowly went away. The biggest problem yesterday is that he kept feeling like he was going to pass out. We're both exhausted. I feel like I go from mega stress all day at work (apparently it's all my fault that the holidays are coming) to mega stress at home and then interrupted sleep all night.

Whine, whine, whine...

THEN - yesterday, as I'm driving Joel to the hospital, I get a text from my sister-in-law, "Could you please call your brother? He's having chest pain and he's waiting for the ambulance and he wants to talk with you."

Sheesh...It's the most wonderful time...of the year...Trying to stay focused on all the good things...

Again - I'm so thankful I have my PAO-World to escape to every day!

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

My brother is in GI procedures right now. He had gastric bypass a while back - they think the pain might be a hiatal hernia. So thankful it wasn't a heart attack.

Thanks everyone. It's been rough!
