Finally.......Our First King! and now 2 Coho!

Well, after 4 weeks of nonstop fishing and narry a bite except for the one we lost at the boat on the second day, we finally caught our king this morning about 15 minutes before sunrise. After we netted it and collapsed onto the boat, both laughing and crying I looked up and saw the sun just starting to rise above the trees. 35 inches long, 25 lbs. Whoo hooo!

Be warned: fish scales will get *everywhere*.... voice of experience speaking.... and way too many memories of "how did fish scales get there?!?" I love salmon but I hate descaling!
