June 2012 Lottery-Show Us Your Best

I've been reading the responses to Monica's art journal questions with great interest especially the things that people want to improve on like drawing eyes and faces, etc. I thought that might be a good challenge but people might not want to send to someone else what they feel they struggle with.

So.....the challenge is to make What You think You Are Best At. I can think of several people on PAO who are known for their superior cardmaking skills, some who do wonders with repurposing found 'treasures' or some whose art journal pages we have come to love, etc. It will be interesting to see if our opinions match up to what people think are their own best talents. So, come on, don't be shy, show us what YOU think is your best medium, technique, or type of artwork.
It can be anything-cards, canvas, altered object. etc.

I knew right away that I wanted to repurpose something for this month's lottery. Don't know if that's what everyone else thinks I'm best at, but I feel very comfortable repurposing things so that's what I chose. This is a trinket box I found at the thrift store yesterday and spent the day repurposing. Details are in the Camp Clean Up thread. Kinda hoping I win this month, cause I think it turned out great!

Rachelle - the fussy-cut images - did you mod podge them or do anything to them to give them some substance? Yes, I'm assuming you cut them from paper. Maybe they're chipboard?
