that looks good, Diana! Did you use the coasters for the covers/pages? or regular paper for the pages?

Thanks for all the nice comments - I used coaster for the covers - actually painted with acrylic paint - and then I cut 4x4 pieces of acrylic paper, used the corner punch and then used stiple brushes and distress inks on both sides and the memento black ink when stamping the images.....I really did have fun going through my stamps on this project.

Finally got mine done! And yeah, I used a peacock stamp, but in my defense I not only had a cool stamp, but also dimensional pearls and PP sprays that matched the color palette. ;) Although dork me didn't realize that I should have swapped teh body & main feather colors until AFTER I had it colored.... *doh*

Finally got mine finished too! Heading out to go crabbing this afternoon so I've been working on it this morning. I started with my Perfect Pearls Mists. After watching the TH video during the Creative Chem class it finally dawned on me that these are for DARK papers not light. I was beginning to wonder what all the fuss was about. Decided to make a TH butterfly using the black glossy I made with the PP Mists and some of that beautiful handmade green paper I got in WA last year. The butterfly is glued to a tiny clothespin so you can use it anywhere you want. I also made a sheet of collage paper using all the scraps from the diecut butterflies. The serendipity squares, and peacock fronds are only down with temp adhesive so you can take the whole thing apart and use the elements as well.

Since you get 2 of everything when you make these butterflies whoever wins will have to choose which one they want--the black on the outside or the green on the outside.

 You should see the detail I covered up with liquid pearls!! It's really a cool stamp... got it @ Michael's... it's an Inkadinkado cling-mounted stamp.

I'm BAAAACCCCCKKKKKK! Oh, my goodness, you all have outdone yourselves this month. All the entries are gorgeous and I'm sad that I don't get to add my name to the drawing.

I'm going to get the list of names together, put them into random.org and I'll be back with the winning name shortly.
