Last, but not least.....

Post by Paula »

I got this idea from Pinterest. I saw some old watches made into necklaces, which were really vintage. I have one of my Mom's old watches, so I put this together. I have changed it a couple of times, but not sure I like the medallion it is in. What do you all think? Should I just hang from a chain, without the medallion, or keep it the way it is?
I enclosed a copy of the orginal picture. Help please!!

I really like what you did and where you're going, but I'm wishing the watch filled the center. Is there anyway to add another round of bling? You go girl!

I love it!!

I am a huge fan of big necklaces even though I don't find the occasion to wear them often. (another hording problem of mine)

I think if you removed the medallion it may look to simple!! just my opinion.

How interesting! I like this idea.
I think I would add another round of bling as well.

I like it just how it is... but I'm not much of a bling girl. What a great idea, and you did such a great job!

And of course I'm the simple scrapper around here. ;)

I think the medallion overwhelms the watch. I'd make the medallion smaller and keep it close to the watch as others have suggested.

I agree with Beth. I think the watch is overwhelmed by all the other stuff but I don't know what to suggest to emphasis the watch. Not much help, sorry!

Great job Paula! I like that the medallion gives the modest watch real presence...I love the charms at the top. A special project...great job!

I thought about this and
I'm not liking the medallion. Too much for the size of the watch.
take off the medallion,
hang the watch under the charms hanging
and hang heart from bottom of the watch

Just a suggestion.
