I love it also. I lived in MD most of my life and nothing beats Maryland crab cakes.

I finished my birdcage this morning (finally). This went in a totally different direction than I was originally thinking, but that's not unusual for me.

On one of my recent jaunts to Goodwill, I found a bronze colored wire vase - at least I think that's what it was. I spray painted it white, then distressed it with alcohol ink and put a strip of embossed, distress metal around the top and bottom. Added an old door knob backplate, a drawer handle and an old spoon. Then I decorated it for the theme.

The ribbon, tags, buttons and hat on the red bird are all removable, so if I want to change it out for another season/theme, I can.

I have mine finished Finally, very simple design
there is a bird handing inside I'll have to take another shot tomorrow
