I have a cage and maybe I'd get to it. It takes me months to get something like this done.
I'm just slow.

That's okay...everyone has a few months to play. I know it will take me a while to find the things I want to put in....

Sounds fun. Would it need to be a "real" birdcage? A lot of us have birdcage dies and/or carts. And I just got a cool idea - now to see if I can find what I need to make it.

Pam,
It doesnt have to be a real birdcage....after all, it's your own darn project ; )

Just so there's some type of birdcage on the project.....

Cant wait to see what you come up with!

I was thinking it was just a challenge to create something for ourselves. That's my vote.

I edited my previous answer to say that we should do our own. I think that trying to mail something like that would be a nightmare.

Maybe people that want to exchange could do 2, trade one and keep one.

I just know me, I won't get this finished for months
I'm just too slow

Jill, I wanted to enjoy this adventure ... that's why I put the date so far out. Plus with summer just on the brink, I wanted to make sure everyone had plenty of time. No rush, just enjoy! It will take me a couple months also ; )

Hmmmmm......did I throw that "thing" out or is it still in the basement. I'm going to have to do some searching. If I still have "it", I just may be in on this challenge.
(that is, if the creative side of my brain decides to return one of these days).

I'm just looking at this as a challenge to myself. I am not a Big Craft kind of gal so this is a great push for me. Have no idea quite what I want to do but I've been researching.

I had 2 in the attic until I moved
my craft space up there and everything
else for the most part went out in the trash,
maybe someone will have a yard sale before then
