Here is a quick digi from a couple of weekends ago. I think I'm going to go back and journal more about how it all ended. Or maybe write on the back after it's printed. About a mile and a half down the parade route (a full two miles from where my car was), the heavens opened up and poured buckets on us. The walkers just bailed out completely. Some of our group tried to seek out friends under a tent, and some carried on to the end of the route, where their ride was waiting. Nicole and I started back against the continuing parade towards the car. Two miles in a downpour of biblical proportions. I don't think she and I have ever been drenched to that extent before.
Next year, we aren't going anywhere near that parade. We're told 30,000 people come to Cottleville every year for this parade, and they're all packed into a single two mile stretch of street. Never. again.

Adversity builds character. That being said, nobody ever seeks to build their character on purpose . . .
Glad you both didn't drown and love the LO!

Chances are, every time you and Nicole walk or run in an event, you'll talk and laugh about this day.
Can't blame you - too many people in too small a space!
Pretty layout!
