What little I've seen in just the printouts...it's gonna be a good one!

Learned I should put a small bead in my mini misters when mixing perfect pearls. It's like, darn, I should have known that!

You beat me to it! I quickly downloaded the videos before heading to bed last night but that was a far as I got. I'm really looking forward to this as I know that my Perfect Pearls are not being utilized to their full extent.

Yeah - just don't use copper BB's. They change the colors over time...I have my own personal collection of Glimmer Mist colors.

I foresee a trip to Wal-Mart for flour sack towels and a big bag of cheap plastic beads in my near future.... this will solve my Glimmer Mist problems and my PP mist problems! Woo hoo! See... for me that alone is worthy of the class fee, as I'll be able to use those Glimmer Mists now!

Monica - make sure they're "heavy" beads. Most plastic beads will just float in the solution.

Good tip! I'll have to see what I can find in a heavy-weight bead that isn't metal and doesn't cost what a real pearl would. I cant' wait for lunch so I can watch the videos!!!! :cool5:

Speaking of... someone actually asked Tim where he bought his real pearls from.... :wtf: I swear, some of those people have no brains or common sense at all.

I wouldn't get 'pearls' as the coating might come off. Glass beads would be good as they have some weight and won't break down or contaminate anything.

yep - glass beads are probably the best - maybe beads from an old necklace?

Okay, okay... I'll look for glass beads. ;) Sorry, no old necklaces with glass beads... and the old necklaces I do have I'm not willing to sacrifice even for this. If Wal-Mart doesn't have anything that will work, I'll try to hit up some of the antique shops around town this weekend.

Would the plastic beads used in doll making work? I'm too lazy to run down to my basement and check on the bag I have . . .

They'd need to have some weight and not float....

This is a good tip, I have so many beads from CS embellies, I'm sure there were some glass ones in there.... (good to know about the BB's... I was almost ready to go get my son's that are with his BB gun ;) )
