Monica,

They do sell a larger jar of Rock Candy; I know because I bought it when I couldn't find the 'other' jar of RC that I bought. Then promptly found the original and now I have 2 bottles . . .

The newer, larger jar seems to be a lot more fluid than the others, so maybe they lost a bit of cash replacing some of the originals and decided to boost the moisture content? Who knows. I just want part of Tim's bank account . . .

I meant the Stickles not the Crackle.... ;) I have the larger jar of Crackle as I have a large-ish project I want to use it on.

I guess it would help if I actually read thoroughly before I answer

Glad I only took Advil for my shoulder and not Flexeril . . . Lord only knows what I would've read/typed on that stuff!

No worries, Kelli.... we all develop foot-in-mouth on occasion and I'll be the first to admit that I've typed a reply to something, only to find out that I must have been reading the Sanskrit version or something...

Guess I didn't read it closely enough, either, because I thought we were still talking about the Crackle!

Went back and revisited CC101 today to catch up on anything I missed and to get ready for class. I had some fun with crackle paint today.

The first one is the Paint Dauber Resist. I like the technique, but I think next time I'll try putting the stains on the craft sheet instead of direct to tag, I would have liked a little more subtle color.

Second is the Stained Crackle technique. I used grunge paper to cut out some leaves and then went with the technique. I added a little metallic copper distress stain at the end. We didn't have that product last time and I really like it.

Last is the Distress Crackle Resist tech and I was very happy with my results on this one. Gotta love the umbrella man though.

They look really good, Rachelle. Another thing to add to my "To Do" list when I get home-revisit Chem 101 and do Chem 102.

Have to mention-I went back and read through this whole topic. That "How do you know when it's dry" conversation still makes me laugh! Now I want to watch the videos again so I can laugh some more.

Today we are having a day off from being tourists. But I should be working on my new journal and not reading year old conversations that still make me laugh.

Good for you, Rachelle. I had the best of intentions but did not revisit 101. Now I'm signing up for 102. Should we have new threads for 102?
