sometimes even when you do a technique wrong you still get pretty cool results.
I think that yours came out pretty neat. I like the muted colors and if you hadn't said anything had gone wrong I wouldn't have known. ;)

Thank you, all of you make me feel like I actually can do tags!!
I just didn't follow his directions.
I was suppose to stamp on the wing.
I put it through the big shot in an embossing folder them did the embossing powder.
It looks ok but not as crisp image. the image itself is raised not just the embossing powder.

Wonderful tags, girls! I'm still watching videos, but starting to play. Love all the detailed instructions we're getting.

They may not look like the examples but I don't think I've ever seen a "bad" result.
Good job everyone!

exactly! I think that's one cool thing about doing this, it kind of comes out "your way" - and it doesn't have to be Tim's way to look good or be right!

My Distress Embossing Powder colors are very limited, so the technique isn't apparent on the 3rd tag.

I am so inky after doing this one!

nice tags

I skipped some days because of my stuff.
I did find one sheet of real glossy paper in my stash
so was able to do some.

I wonder what would happen if you mixed the one distress powder with some regular stuff. What color do you have?

I have gold and antique gold regular stuff, and of course clear...

I'm still liking the idea of shopping ;)

Ok, then, I can't help you except to say, don't buy a lot of them until you try them. They can be underwhelming unless you really like the dull and rough texture they leave.

I actually thought I was doing something wrong the first time I used it because it was so dull.
