Just remember, Seattle's weather has absolutely nothing to do with the majority of Washington State!

Like I said... promises, promises!! Nancie Wood and Yoli live in Bellevue, which is just north of Seattle.

I just saw these CCC101 samples and she used the same stamp as Monica but for her Brushless Watercolor. Thought you might like to see it, Monica!

Well, I spent most of the afternoon playing with the distress markers (only bought 6 and then ran to the store for 5 more after I started playing) cause I LOVE them. I've never really been a marker person, except for black and white, but I really like the distress properties these have and I'm always using my watercolor, pencils, crayons and pots so I think these are going to fit right in with my style.

I wanted to use this particular stamp for my sample of stamping with markers and then I decided to see what it would be to color it as well, just to see the difference. I even tried a 2nd generation with a spritz of water and liked the way that came out too. Loving the possibilities.

Rachelle,

I am *loving* your examples! I love both of your stamp choices too!

I'd ask you to tell me who made them and where you bought them, but I'm afraid if my husband sees any more rubber enter this household, I'll be out of it, LOL.

I'm pretty sure they're Recollections stamps from Michael's. And I would have either got them with a coupon or when on sale.

I have to take a "bye" on this one. Tried my markers and they're a train wreck. Won't blend at all, so I'm wondering if they're alcohol based, although it doesn't say anywhere what they are and they have no smell. Oh well, something else I'll have to shop for....

Great tags, Rachelle!! And I'm loving that tree stamp. I'm not a marker persn either, but the blendability of the Distress markers won me over. Still not a Copics fan, and I'll never be a regular marker fan, but the Distress markers are great! ;)

I don't have those distress markers.

So I probably won't do this one either, unless
I just stamp and color with what I have.
