Good suggestion Pam. Maybe you have a defective stamp... I have had one of those before, parts of the rubber are indented (for lack of a better word) and wouldn't touch the paper. I'll see how mine works tonight.

I'm a bit heavy-handed with the watercolouring, need to work on that. I do like the watercolour stamping though! So again my black areas on the first tag weren't black enough (darn Archival pad), so I watercoloured them with black soot to fill them in some :).

They all worked out well. And we are all learning so much by doing.

Aha! Fooled you! I got 2 days worth of classes/tags done in a single day - well, almost. I don't have the felt for the custom stamp pad, so I had to skip that tag also.

But, here's my honest attempt at the other two tags:

I can't seem to find a good stamp to 'color' in, so I used one I've been dying to use forever.

Thanks for looking!

Nice!!! That was my complaint with some of my stamps, nothing to color in, but I finally found some at Gina K. Designs :)

Wow! Everyone's tags are so different! What a great way to see the whole spectrum on these techniques. I don't have the felt with me so will have to skip that one till I get back to AZ or find some more. I have been working on a different day today though. Love peeking in here to see what everyone else is up to today

Well, once again - tried it, wasn't impressed and ready to move on to the next thing. At least I'm finding what I do and don't like. I really don't like using his homemade mists because they just seem watery to me. As for the painting with refillers? Meeh. Do not like making the stamp pad - I like more control over my color than that. It just seems so hit or miss and took a pile of ink before it would work half decently.

Outstanding work everyone. I know how it feels to have something turn out not quite like how I expected - but these really are beautiful!

I was only able to try the Layered Misting from Day 4. Not much in the way of supplies for this day, but I had some Perfect Pearls mists to give it a go. Not bad, but I do like making my own mists from the Distress reinkers, just don't have any with me. I used the mask from CS Arts and Crafts kit.
