March 2012 Lottery - Friendship - WINNER ANNOUNCED!

This month's challenge is to use the theme of Friendship in your piece of art, but I would also like you to incorporate stripes, polka dots and at least one flower into your creation. Go big and bold, or soft and subtle - it's up to you - anything goes - just have fun.

Had to dig to find this, so I figured I'd post and *bump* it back towards the top.

I'm really bummed I blew it and didn't do anything for the Opens/Closes challenge . . . but this one looks like fun!

I attached a sticky to this to make it a bit easier to find. It expires in 30 days, so it's good for the month. I think that we need to remember to do this with monthly challenges so they don't get lost, and you can limit the time frame for the sticky.

that's a great idea, Pam and thanks for doing that. I was thinking about this the other day. It's really nice to have it bump up once in awhile to remind me.

Here is a little notepad with the cover stenciled with circles, stripes and others. Stamped and dimensional flowers.
I'll let the paper for the inside pages be a surprise to the winner

Because the sun was on it, it really picked up the embossed words on the Steppin' Out paper. In real life, the background shows up more. and it looks dark!

This isn't what I was going to do for this month, but when I watched Donna Downey's March Canvas video I thought it would be perfect. It's an 8x10 canvas covered with strips of muslin with pom-pom flowers.
