February 2012 Lottery-Opens and Closes
Re: February 2012 Lottery-Opens and Closes
Nice books, Rachelle! That is such a fun project, I can understand why you made three!

I love those!!
Re: February 2012 Lottery-Opens and Closes
I figure that a box qualifies for open and close, right? The base is a chipboard cigar box from Cosmo Cricket and the papers were from a Swirlydoos kit (no idea which company). I finished it off with some Faded Jeans Distress Stain, a couple of hinge thingies & TH brads, and lastly some Demin Adirondack dimensional pearls and TH wings. The photos don't show it really well, but the bottom part is covered in red patterned paper.

I LOVE all the projects this month and although I'm not quite back into creative thinking mode yet, I had to join in. This isn't what I had hoped to do for this challenge, but something I started a while ago and finished up this morning. Just a little box with some cards inside.

Very pretty Sue!! Did you have a pattern for the box?

That is very pretty, Sue! Of course, I love the birds.

Thank you. Paula, I sort of followed this tutorial for a paper gift bag, using Grungepaper and added the top flap. http://papierenavonturen.blogspot.com/2 ... t-bag.html.
Marianne, mom is doing pretty well. She's feeling good and starting to feel comfortable here, but, of course, has her tough moments, too. Everything is going smoothly, so far. Thanks for asking.

I altered an old tin that I've had for years. I forgot to take a picture of it before but it was the kind they used to send CD's in for you to get internet, think it was for AOL. Anyway, here is the finished tin. The inside quote says "It takes a Family to make a home".
