My La-Kay-Le' is ready to head to Christy's house too. She might hang around one more week and hopefully get to meet Miss Little Valentina, but she'll definitely be in the mail by the end of next week.

I made a little stand for Ada Mae yesterday and took some closeup pics of all the lovely detail Sue put into her.

I cut a slot in the top of the small ribbon spool to set the handle that is the bottom of Ada Mae and then I ran a large bamboo skewer through the spool and the handle to anchor her in. I had hubby add some weight (old metal washers) to the bottom ribbon spool and enclosed with paper, then glued the small ribbon spool on top. She stands up great now, no danger of falling.

And here's a view of her back. I can't believe all the detail she has. You really did a spectacular job, Sue. Love her!

I received my doll in todays mail and she is SOOOOOO freakin' cute!! Here are some photos so you can see close up. I have already found a place for her in my scrapcave!! Thank you Paula, did you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dress forms???

She turned out soooooo cute. It was fun seeing her in person at Paula's last week too. I have a pic of her and Ada Mae and Lakayle together there, just waiting for Christie to post her pic (hint hint )
