On the 12th day of December the Tim tag looked like this: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... ag-12.html

And the tags are finished for the year... with that creepy broken armed china doll.... I'm thinking that a tree would work just as well there and give it a pop of color too. This one will be hard to put in a baggie for someone, as I refuse to buy those china dolls! We shall see.....

Even if I had them, which I don't, I wouldn't use it for Christmas. I am thinking I might not bother with these any more he is too far out there for me.

I can see the doll in a box collage, but not a tag. Just my opinion. I like the techniques he used on this cars, but not how it turned out. He had several which were disappointing!

I'm still enjoying the ideas, which definitely get my creative juices flowing... but i'm finding that the tags, etc. posted by others and linked to his blog seem to be more creative than some of his stuff! Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I had started on the first year of tags, which I'd never gotten around to doing, and I think some of those are more creative that the current ones.

I will not ever ever ever purchase those creepy dolls. Ugh.

I saw a few that had used angels that were really pretty.

I agree that "creepy dolls" won't be on my tags.

Twelve Drummers Drumming

I found this ornament picture yesterday and saved it as a possibility for today's tag. The vertical space on the tag worked out great to use it. Forget the frozen Charlotte and use whatever vertical thing takes your fancy. It's just a basic design element. There are truly some gorgeous interpretations on Tim's blog-a Madonna and Child that takes your breath away and many beautiful tags with angels.

I've replaced the photo with one taken this morning in daylight.

Here is my version for number 12. I had these deer cut out and didn't use them before so I decided they would go on here. I have sprayed lots of glimmer mist on this tag and do like this look. Nothing at all like Tim's

That's really pretty, Cheryl! I like all the shimmer and the little pearls, beads, scattered around at the top.

Marianne, love the little drummer boy! You have done a terrific job with your 12 tags.

Cheryl, I love those deer and I just may have to CASE you tag a bit! I really love the elegant simplicity of your tag.
