December crop challenge #7
On the 7th day of December the Tim tag looked like this: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... tag-7.html

I'm liking the look of today's tag! The basic design can be adapted in so many ways.

I agree, it's one of my favorites too.

There is some stamped script on the tag, which hasn't shown up on the photo. I found one of those little glassine envelopes from way back, and wondered if it was made from a similar stuff to Tim's. I scrunched it, alcohol inked it, heated it, rubbed gold powder into it, sprayed it with hair spray when it looked as if the gold wasn't sticking....can't remember what else! And they don't really look like holly leaves, do they? More like a little green man with a pointed hat!!...Hmm?

Nice job! They look like mini fir trees to me, which is still very festive.

That's beautiful Cheryl. I like the effect you get with the red tulle. Very classy!

Beautiful, Cheryl! I'm partial to poinsettias anyway but the red tulle really finishes off the cluster.

Wonderful tags! I love the improvisation too! I'll have to play catch up when I get home from Seattle.

love it

I really like the crisp green and white, Kathryn, and the rich red, Cheryl! What a contrast in colors but both are so pleasing.
Here is my #7. There isn't much of the original tag in this but I wanted to go with the photo-seven swans a swimming at the Cape May Bird Sanctuary. I planned to add the holly leaves but then they just didn't go then mountains and a sunset appeared out of nowhere.
While doing the holly leaves, not on glassine but on old CS vellum, the look reminded me of the Natural Resources paper so I used the brown version to punch the little leaves after I abandoned the holly on this. They will appear on the next tag I post.
